So nice to the touch
There is something about a nice piece of wood that you just can not explain. As you take it from the rough edged unfinished state it develops a personality of it's own. It started as a rough piece of lumber that you could easily get a hand full of splinters from. By carefully sanding the surface using gradually finer sheets of sandpaper the wood finishing begins to be evident. As the wood becomes smoother the grain and even the blemishes in the wood start to stand out as a thing of beauty. When you add waxes or other finishing material you insure that you have a beautiful surface that will be admired for years.
