Spray Adhesive

I wasn’t introduced to the wonders of spray adhesive until recently. I was never a very crafty person, but now that there is a little girl in my house, I have found that I like to do crafts more than I thought I would. Even better, she loves to do crafts with me, and we make as much time for them as we can. There are some things that I have to do for her because she is too young, and there are some things that I take shortcuts on just because I do not have all of the time in the world to do what we need to do. Shortcuts are essential in some cases, and they often work better that way.

Spray adhesive is good if you need to glue something together with a good even coat of glue. Though you can take your time and spread out regular glue, you only need a few seconds to apply enough spray adhesive to get what you need. Quite often is sprays out and smooth and even layer of glue that won’t dry too quickly or too slowly. Spray adhesive tends to stay sticky long enough get things put together, but dries faster than most other types of adhesive so that you can get on with what you are doing.

You can use spray adhesive for things other than crafts. You can use it to fix wallpaper that has come loose, or you can use it to put down contact paper in your kitchen if you have some that does not already have adhesive on it. You can use it for many things, and for the price, it seems to be a good bargain. Though I only use spray adhesive for craft projects, I do know that my husband has many uses for it at his construction job, and his company tends to use a lot of it throughout the week.

You can get spray adhesive in hardware, home improvement, and craft stores. You may pay more for it there, but it will be better quality than what you buy in a discount department store. Make sure you keep the nozzle cleaned out to get a good even spray, and keep spray adhesive away from open flames or intense heat. Never though the empty can into a fire, and never leave it lying around where your child can get a hold of it.
